A well established and rapidly growing Commercial Glazing Contractor is seeking a full time Commercial Project Manager for an immediate opening. This person is an integral part of our team who will work alongside clients, suppliers, subcontractors and office staff. They will manage multiple construction projects ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.

Responsibilities • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously • Manage submittal process with subcontractors. Prepare, submit, and review returned submittals • Release and track procurements of materials • Prepare and submit change orders • Project Accounting Functions, including preparing monthly requisitions for work performed • Manage close out procedures and documents • Manage client satisfaction, project budgets, quality of work, and completion dates • Regular communication with clients, architects, owners, subcontractors, suppliers including job site visits, face to face meetings and written and oral communication • Follow company policies and procedures to uphold our ethical and quality standards • Maintain project binder and computer files to include project documents, change orders, materials, etc. • Build and maintain relationships with client, subcontractor and supplier base • Analyze completed project for timeliness, quality, and budget vs cost.

Requirements • 3 years of Glass and Glazing industry experience • 3 years demonstrated on-site field experience Glazing • At least 1 year Project Management experience • Ability to manage submittal process and procurement/release of materials • Ability to prepare and submit accurate and timely change orders • Manage multiple projects meeting client expectations, changes in scope, project budget and deadlines • Self-motivated with a positive approach and strong time management skills • Highly organized, detail oriented and customer focused • Strong computer, verbal and writing skills. Proficient with Microsoft Suite • Valid Driver’s License • References

Midway Glass Metal Installers, Inc. is located in Carlstadt, NJ. We install and fabricate metal storefronts, framing, curtain walls, mirrors, glass and glazing.

We are looking for a detail oriented, career minded Commercial Glazier who can read and interpret blueprints, fabricate and install metal storefronts, curtain wall and heavy glass. Individual must have a working knowledge of all aspects of the commercial glass business.

Applicant MUST have experience (which will be verified) in the following areas:

– Installations, per project specifications, of aluminum storefronts and doors, curtain

walls, insulated glass

– Familiarity of door hardware and repairs of aluminum doors (i.e, door closers, roton

hinges and door adjustments)

– Must be able to read blue prints

– Be familiar with Kawneer, YKK and Vistawall storefront systems

Applicant must also possess the following skills:

– Knowledge of mathematics to troubleshoot and problem solve installation issues

– Follow guidelines, procedures and safety rules at all times

Responsibilities include assisting in the compilation of bid documents, reading blue prints, typing proposals and tracking bids. Must have own transportation.

Individual must have at least 2 years experience in project management and estimating, be very organized, reliable and a self-starter.
